After 9 PM, he will deny entry even if you're Junior Supervisor. If you're not out of the restricted area before the 5 seconds are over, he will raise Ranger Danger, and Port Security will start chasing you. Otherwise, the security guy at the front will give you 5 seconds to “get your butt out of the port”. Outside of the jobs, you can only enter the restricted area if you are promoted to Junior Supervisor, and only during the day.
There are 2 berths (numbered 1, 2) and 3 warehouses (numbered A, B, C) the numbering for both is right-to-left. The restricted area is the largest, it's where the warehouses and ship berths with cranes are located. Your vehicle will be parked here if you sleep in the tower. There is a parking lot near the Admin Building. After you are promoted in the Crane job, then you can sleep there. The tower can be accessed by ladder from the second floor, but initially you will be thrown out by the Crane Instructor. Some doors are locked you need to be promoted in the Security job to enter them. You can get certifications from Certification Manager and jobs from Port Supervisor there. The outer area is where the Admin Building is located.
This does not happen while you're working. You will be brought here along with the vehicle you last used if you're inside the Port at 9 PM. Outside the port entrance, there's a dining table and a stack of newspapers. Fox Shop is located in the forest near the entrance of the port.
